本文对陈鹤琴的幼儿教育思想进行了系统的研究。分析了其幼儿教育思想对中国幼儿教育史发展的历史价值，从而提炼出陈先生的幼儿教育思想对当今学前教育发展的现实意义。陈鹤琴幼儿教育思想的形成有其特殊的历史背景、理论渊源，也是其长期从事中国幼儿教育系列活动的实践结果。将其核心理念贯穿整个教育生涯，以“活教育”思想为陈鹤琴幼儿教育思想的核心，同时重视家庭教育的主要影响。我国当前幼儿教育还滞留一些“痼疾”和滋生很多新问题，解决这些棘手的“痼疾”和问题可以借鉴陈鹤琴幼儿教育思想理论，从政府、幼儿园、教师、家庭几个方面来分析探讨，以待更好的指导当今幼儿教育的发展，努力早日实现幼儿教育的优质化。
