摘要
柴油机自诞生至今，其技术不断地在革新。为了满足柴油机低排放、高性能的要求，高压共轨燃油系统应运而生。本文介绍了柴油机燃油系统的发展过程和机械式燃油系统和共轨燃油系统的工作过程。同时，在喷油压力、喷油定时、喷油速率的控制等方面指出共轨系统与机械式燃油系统存在的差异。今后，随着排气后处理技术和空燃比控制技术的进步，不再以牺牲柴油机的高热效率为代价，就可生产出排放和噪声水平都接近或超过汽油车的柴油机汽车。高压共轨系统被世界内燃机行业公认为20世纪三大突破之一，已成为21世纪柴油机燃油系统的主流。
