在各高校扩大招生的形势下学生管理的工作变得越来越繁重。采用传统的人工管理模式，效率低下，不能满足实际的需求。
本文描述的是基于Wi
dows环境的学生信息管理系统，对学生管理的需求进行了分析。本系统的主要功能包括：要提供新生信息录入、学籍变更、成绩管理和奖惩管理等相关的功能。可以更快地知道每个学生的情况，使学生的管理效率更高。系统的设计与开发采用服务器客户机的系统结构模式，使用Delphi开发工具开发，应用Access2003数据库管理系统，通过ADO连接数据库。
本篇论文以一个学生管理系统的分析、设计和开发的全过程为主线，给出了学生管理系统的设计和技术实现的过程，特别在细节上分析功能和函数的实现思想。涉及到学生信息管理的基本功能在本论文中都有相应的描述。
