摘要
长期以来，中小企业的经营管理表现出基础薄弱、起点较低，其管理仅停留在单打独斗的家族传统粗放型的管理层次上，无健全的、完善的内部管理制度，更没有认识或重视到企业存货控制和管理是生产经营过程中的重要环节，所以对中小企业存货管理问题研究并提出相应的改善策略就显得尤为重要了。
存货管理在企业流动资产中占了非常重要的地位，随着我国市场竞争越加激烈，存货问题越来越受到重视，存货是一项重要的流动资产，它的存在势必要占用大量的流动资金。所以实施正确的管理方法，降低企业平均资金占用水平、提高存货的流转速度和总资产流转率来提高企业的效益显得尤为重要。存货管理是企业内部控制的重要环节，使企业实现经营目标，贯彻经营方针和决策，维护流动资产安全与完整，保证财务收支的合法、会计信息真实性的一种内部自我协调、制约和监督的控制系统，存货管理不仅有助于防止存货业务的错误记录和舞弊行为的发生，还能加强成本控制，实施降低成本战略，本文主要介绍了存货管理的重要性，存货管理的方法及手段，中小企业存货管理的现状及解决对策，并对存货的各个阶段进行深入分析。
