海运提单是海外交易中的重要一种工具，它是货物所有权的凭证以及提货凭证，在国际贸易中尤其是涉及货物运输，保险的贸易中，已经越来越占据主要地位。但与此同时，它也成为了国际贸易中最有风险的一个环节，越来越多的人利用单证进行欺诈，其日益成为一种主要的海事欺诈手段。中国作为一个缺乏完善的机制国际贸易大国，成为了海运提单欺诈的主要对象。本文主要以中国为研究对象，分析海运提单的风险，以及作为中国国际贸易企业要如何完善机制，采取措施对其作出防范，以维护自身的利益。从而使得发挥提单在国际贸易更加重要的作用。
