浅谈转基因食品安全问题

摘要：转基因食品是指用转基因生物所制造或生产的食品、食品原料及食品添加
剂等。目前已经进入食品领域的三类转基因生物中，转基因植物的产业化规模和
范围要比转基因动物和转基因微生物大得多。转基因技术是利用基因工程或分子
生物学技术，将外源遗传物质导入活细胞或生物体中产生基因重组现象，并使之
遗传和表达。转基因生物是指遗传物质基因发生改变的物质，其基因改变的方式
是通过转基因技术，而不是以自然增殖或自然重组的方式产生。转基因食品是否
安全一直是个颇受争议的话题，公众对转基因食品比较生疏，普片不了解转基因
食品是否对人体有什么作用。

对于转基因食品的研究也有几十年的历史，真正商业化是20世纪90年代以
后的事。目前，转基因食品无论在数量和品种上都具有了相当的规模。转基因技
术在农产品方面的应用，美国居于世界首位。在转基因食物中，其品种相对集中，
目前主要涉及大豆、棉花、油菜和玉米。2000年在全球转基因作物中，转基因
大豆占总播种面积的一半，达58。目前在转基因技术方面比较先进的国家有美
国，加拿大，阿根廷，巴西，中国。在转基因食品的商业化考虑上，我国政府和
科学家既谨慎又坚决，目前市场上的转基因食品还不多。但随着进口量的增多，
消费者利用转基因食品的机会也会快速增加。
