摘要
近年来，随着中国经济的高速发展，人民生活水平的不断提高，中国的汽车行业进入了高速发展期，汽车保有量逐年快速提升，为国家的经济发展注入了无限生机和活力。然而，伴随着汽车保有量的增长，中国经济高歌猛进的同时，交通事故和交通拥堵却呈现了逐年上升趋势。今年的京藏高速大拥堵、十一黄金周大量旅客滞留高速路就是最好的印证。因此如何解决交通拥堵，成为了促进社会健康可持续发展不可逾越的重要问题之一。针对此问题政府也做了很多努力，如大规模修建扩建交通网络，并不断升级改造老旧的交通网络系统，大力发展现代交通网络体系，一种新的智能交通控制系统也应运而生。基于此本论文的思路是通过探测器即电磁感应线圈探测出汽车的流量后自动调节红绿灯的时长。车辆的流量记数、交通灯的时长控制可由可编程控制器PLC来实现。
