et的不断普及，网上的各种素材和资料越来越多，也越来越丰富，这给网络远程教育的迅速发展带来了机会。越来越多的网络课件被开发出来，给老师和学生的教与学带来了极大的方便。基于web的多媒体cai课件是多媒体cai课件与web技术的结合。它将成为网络教学多媒体cai课件的主要形式。本文结合一个制作材料科学基础的实例，介绍了在基于web的多媒体cai课件开发过程中对课件页面进行页面设计的原则和方法，并详细介绍了课件中导航、测试等关键功能的实现技术和方法。设计制作《材料科学基础教程》多媒体网络教学课件。用文字处理工具Word和制图软件Firework及动画制作软件Flash5等软件进行素材的录入然后使用简单、方便的远程教育课件开发工具DreamweaverMX2004软件制作成网络课件。结果初步完成了《材料科学基础教程》多媒体网络课件的制作。结论，多媒体网络课件蕴涵的信息量大由于没有时间和空间的因素制约增加了教与学的自由度节约了人力、物力实现了教学资源的有效配置发展前景广阔。关键词：多媒体；cai课件；web；材料科学基础
